Stage Rally – This is the form where professional rally racers gather. Terrains may vary from asphalt to rough forest tracks, ice and snow to desert. The more unpredictable the terrain is the bigger the event is and is found to be the most anticipated challenge in Rally Racing. This is where the driver and the crew’s teamwork, performance and reliability are tested.
Road Rally – (Original Form) These are primarily amateur events that are held on open highways to normal traffic. The focus is not on speed but on timing and navigation and the car’s reliability. These are events where the team’s problem solving and the cars engineering are put to test.
